Febuwhump #5-6: “That’s gonna scar.”, Secrets revealed.

Puppet master AU

“That’s gonna scar…” Chase mumbled under his breath before hissing.

“{Well, you wouldn’t have this type of wound if you would just listen to what I tell you. I wouldn’t have to use my strings to put you in your place.}” Jameson argued back in Chase’s mind. His sapphire eyes focused on the cuts over Chase’s wrists, luckily he didn’t have to worry about the one on his neck since the collar hid it. Jameson tried to be gentle as he tended the wounds, but frustration was evident in his actions, and hearing Chase stifle a his or groan brought odd satisfaction to all of this. “{If Henrik asks what happened, you tell him you relapsed.}”

“W-What? But I’ve been doing good— OW!” Jameson squeezed the tender area around his wrist, soon letting go when Chase recoiled into himself like a wounded animal. “Y-You won’t be able to fool Henrik forever, y’know? He’s gonna find out the monster you really are. He’ll start asking questions a-and your secrets will be revealed.” Chase threatened while rubbing his wrist.

Jameson glared daggers at Chase, “{Do you really wish to challenge me after earlier? Then watch your tongue.}” Jameson signs before turning his back towards the father, walking out of the room and into the kitchen. It was time for Henrik’s coffee break after all.

Puppet Master AU

Ok, so, I’ve been thinking about this and I know it’s going to be kind of shitty but I want to make an AU where Josh is the Psychopath, but there’s another psychopath trolling the friends. 

That psychopath is known as the Puppet Master. 

Losing her mother one year before the disappearance of Beth and Hannah ended up difficult on Sam. She pulled back, speaking to pretty much no one except Josh for the entire year. Her grief triggered a real psychopathic reaction instead of the Insanity of her friend. 

She spoke to Josh over the times, planting the idea into his head that he should prank the friends, keeping it innocent in words but noting slightly sporadic behavior from him over time, figured maybe he was going to. 

Josh asked Sam to come up to the cabin a week or two early just so the two of them could be alone. And a lot of the time she would notice that Josh would leave to check on things. 

But he wasn’t the only one. 

She left little notes, reminders of the prank pulled the year before, her own anger at how indifferent her “friends” had seemed. 

She’d make sure they got their punishment. Everyone but Chris would be excluded. 

Never in her wildest dreams would she think she’d be included in Josh’s plans to torment her too, but soon after he revealed himself as the Psychopath, and Sam went missing, the Puppet Master appeared, putting everything through an extended period of hell. 

Josh losing control of the panic he once had concocted. And now, Josh was a victim too. Both lucky and unlucky for the group, their horror was extended past one day to three, trapped in the house with a psychopath no one knew and no one could trace.

The smudge/smear frame idea got lost in the details. Oh well. I was more focused on the lighting because this scene takes place at night.
