please tell more about dark souls 2 the movie, I saw that tag and really wanna know more

In my mind, the DS2 story encapsulates the themes of the series perfectly. The loss of what once was, the cyclical nature of the setting, determination to overcome great odds, and the remembrance of those who came before.

It also has some of the more striking and somber locations in Dark Souls lore in general.

A large scale film properly telling the story of DS2 would do the whole series more justice than either of the other two games or, hell, even a trilogy based on all the games. At least imo.
