I am also very tired of this narrative.

The one where someone from an oppressed community finally gains some power... but then they HAVE to take it too far, somehow... only for someone from the OG oppressors to come and "show" them "the right way".

Like, if you knew the right way in the beginning, you wouldn’t be heralding an oppressive government. You wouldn't be using derogatory terms and choosing to use your power to suppress someone else's freedom.

But as soon as the victims get powers, suddenly, "they've gone too far."

I wish the story didn’t have to make it seem like there was a bad side to giving a powerless person some powers. I get it. It was a riveting story. I was hooked from start to finish. I love arcane. I just wish this wasn't it.

hey, i’ve seen that you’ve mentioned sosastrology regarding them posting content without permission and i just wanted to say that the thing i hate about their page the most is the fact that they purposefully go out of their way to crop out the usernames of the original creators. i’m aware that the usernames are written down in the comments, but like .... i’m certain that no one actually reads that nor cares about it. what they are doing is wrong period, (and i didn’t even know they also ignore dms) but the bare minimum they could do is leave the usernames in the posts.

And you can literally tell ppl in the comments don’t read the credits in captions (if we ignore the fact that they didn’t ask to repost the content to begin with) because they be like “do a post on this next!!!” or they’re literally asking questions in regards to the post which wtf would the insta reposter know about the content when they didn’t make it 💀

And yeah, sosastrology ignores dms. I dmed asking to take down one of a couple posts that were my content. No response, no apology, nothing. They did take the ONE post down, but you know they don’t actually care because if they did, they would sift through their posts and take down all of the posts that are my content. I did speak on the behalf of others and mention all of the astro bloggers on Tumblr are pissed about this and they still post our content EVERYDAY
