A surprise from his father could mean a lot of things considering how his father could have some dark tendencies. Part of him was a little worried but he didn’t want to assume the worst. Flynn followed him into the back room of his mother’s restaurant which served as a war room when necessary for the family business. Nervously he stepped into the room noticing there was someone sitting in a chair obviously against their will. When he took a step closer he noticed it was the girl he told his dad about the other day. “Dad, what the fuck?” He freaked out immediately moving to make sure the woman was okay. “Just because you’re a mob boss does not mean you just kidnap someone I said was hot,” Flynn sighed shaking his head hoping she wasn’t going to do anything in retaliation. “Hey you okay,” he whispered nervous that she would freak out on him.

dean had never really been known for his courage. sure, he was sweet, kind, caring, nice, but he hardly ever did anything to stir the pot and was rather content with staying in his lane. that was, of course, until he met them. the male had known them for as long as he could remember and probably loved them for even longer than that. with how strongly he felt and how hard it was to hide, dean was sure he had must have known them in another life. so when they asked him if he was interested in anybody at the moment, he wasn’t going to come right out and say it was them but he also didn’t have to lie. “something in the way they move, it just–attracts me like no other lover.”

              '  are you gonna keep playing the same recycled crap for the whole drive?   '   he knows that BROOKLYN'S the one who's driving, which gives her automatic dibs on the music, but he would swear up and down that this song has been playing for an hour. maybe it's because he was a little butthurt over their recent breakup, but the woman had been driving him crazy. he's kept it together for most of the ride so far, but now, sat behind her, carson was almost at his breaking point.  '  who even got you into that shit? the new guy you're fucking?  '  he could already hear their friends groan before he'd even finished his sentence.

( @purests — isla bit down onto her lower lip as she looked at the other. then, she got onto her hands and knees and slowly crawled to them. “but—”, a pout pulling onto her full lips. as their finger raised to press against her lips in a way of telling her to be quiet, she’s easily parting her lips to slowly suck on their finger, her eyes never leaving them.

it’s another restless night for troy, but it’s different, this one carries him out past the gates of his mansion and down the the nearby docks. it feels very much like a dream. it seems familiar as he wanders towards the water and hangs his legs off the side staring into the murky water. familiar, all of it seems familiar but it can’t be, he’s never been here before he decides. it reminds him of a dream he once had when he was little.

a small nine year old wandering along the docks and playing on them in the late evenings and early mornings with another young boy. it was just a dream, an imaginary friend. reece he had called him. for of course a boy as isolated as troy would have nothing but an imaginary friend. and he became his best friend, and he had relied on him. 

that was before tony told him to snap out of it. he wasn’t real. and troy forgot about him, forced himself to forget about him. and back here it was reminding him of that bittersweet memory which he had seemingly forgotten.

every single day, the kids begged scarlett to take them up to the snow. after the first two days, she’d figured that they’d forget about it eventually but two months had passed and they were still going strong. ‘ but mummy, we hardly ever go to the snow ! it’s not our fault we live in the lower part of california ! ‘ mason would pout, never missing his opportunity for a smart comment. elena, by his side, would just shout ‘ yeah ! ‘ when she’d finally agreed to take them, they asked, ‘ what about daddy ? ’ and that brought a whole other ( problem ) . lucky for them, it eventually got sorted out and she was tossing the last bag into her mom car and heading back inside. at the door, she scooped up her --- much too big to be carried --- daughter, pressing a kiss to the little girl’s cheek. “ liam ! mason ! we’re going to leave without you!”

f e b r u a r y 1 4 , 2 0 2 0

it’d been about a year since liam & scarlett took the kids to the snow the first time. which means , it’s been a year since the conversation of possibly rekindling their relationship. ( now , let me fill you in --- ) in that year, scarlett decided it’d be best to keep her distance , out of that same fear that she always had. messing it up. she continued to better herself, put the kids first, and earn back the trust and respect liam once had for her without any other intentions getting in the way. happy, healthy scarlett ? happy, healthy household.

which made this morning possible !

scarlett had asked liam if she could stay the night , to prepare for the morning of their little girl’s sixth birthday ( & valentine’s day ) . she woke up bright and early , spending a couple hours decorating the kitchen and dining area balloons, streamers & confetti adorning the space, preparing a breakfast full of heart shaped foods, fruits, tons of red, pink and white sprinkles and ... a whole lot of chocolate. definitely not what scar would let the kids eat on the regular BUT it was a special occasion.

first , scarlett woke their 8 year old up --- who 1. hated valentine’s day because girls and love were icky but 2. was still excited to celebrate his sister’s birthday. the two next snuck into the main bedroom, where elena managed to sneak by liam’s side. a smile formed on the mother’s lips, the sight of her daughter and the man she was in love with warming her heart. shaking her thoughts away, she gave mason a little glance and he smirked back, hopping onto the bed to get liam’s attention while scarlett gently shook the little one awake , “ happy birthday , princess elena ! daddy, mason, & i have a surprise for you ! ”
