War of Hearts
After FIVE MONTHS, I finally updated my modern royalty zelink AU!
You can read it on Wattpad or AO3. Below is a bit of a preview to the new chapter!
<>
"Greetings, Princess Zelda," A man with a strange feathered hat and an atrocious mustache dropped into a low bow before her. "I am Lord Edward Marfice of the Metholina Kingdom. I have traveled far to meet you!"
Zelda plastered a smile on her face as he kissed her hand. "Welcom, Lord Edward. I hope you are enjoying your stay?"
"Of course, of course. They always said Hyrulean hospitality was unrivaled. Would you do me the honors of a dance?"
Zelda would rather parade around naked.
Can we please bring back PuRobbie?
I really like PuRobby. I'm neutral about the fact that people either ignore this pairing, or pair Purah or Robbie with other characters. But in my soul, only the ambiguous relationship between Purah and Robbie resonates.
It doesn't matter that in the Breath of the Wild timeline, Purah and Robbie never started a family due to the fact that they were separated by the Great Calamity, because they are still very good at pairing.
Think about it yourself. Purah knows how to work with runes on Sheikah Slate, she created Eternal Youth, a locator, in other words, she is a programmer (bioengineer = also a programmer), her element is exact sciences and brain work. Robbie knows how to melt and process metal, create weapons and armor from Guardians, and in his youth he crushed monsters in all directions, his element is physical strength and handwork. And together they form the PurahPad, a new smart and durable Sheikah device. After Calamity was neutralized, they remained the best colleagues.
Therefore, I am pleased to think that in the AoC timeline, where the Great Calamity is averted, Purah and Robbie may have become a family, rested together for a month near the sea in Lorelin or Hateno, after which they had a child.
By the way, Josha's design has always seemed to me very similar to what a child of Purah and Robbie could probably look like
_*_
Purah and Robbie definitely fight like they're dancing you can't convince me otherwise
Robbie: *dips Purah*
*explosion in the distance*
Robbie: Gods you're fucking amazing
Purah: You know it
why choose akkala?
I liked the weather. Autumn is beautiful and nice and cool, so its good conditions to work in.
Plus there's a plethora of Guardian ruins here. Excellent for my research.
Also...I did a straw pull with Purah and she got first pickings.
Happy three years of this duo! ♡
Aka, happy three years of Age of Calamity Day!
Seriously, this game is so, so special to me. And yes, because of these two. I cannot express in words how much they mean to me and this entire game as a whole.
Three sentences about Robbie and Purah’s work life
"You blew it up!"
Purah shouted these words at her colleague Robbie on the regular, whether it be about ancient Sheikah terminals or the new towers she was working on; if Robbie was good at anything, it was causing dangerous explosions.
He would rush to deny that the explosions were his fault--old technology, bad equipment, even Purah was surely the culrpit--but she would shush him with a curt, "Quiet, old man," even though they were the same age in all aspects but appearance; one day, he vowed, he would undo her anti-aging and expose her wrinkles to the world.
