Last day of vacation, I finally unexpectedly stumbled across a record store—and an unusual one at that—in the former mining- turned ghosttown of Jerome, AZ. We visited 15 years ago when it was almost a ruin; now it’s rebounded nicely as an artistic enclave. What makes this vinyl shop unique is it is Puscifer The Store (note the band logo sign in photo), owned by the side project band of Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan. It’s a pretty, if small shop, which has a few special items if you’re a fan, and it shares the space with a wine shop. We had a good browse.
