Ranging Far Afield || Open

Philip sat tall upon Alagos on the edge of Mirkwood, keen eyes scanning the horison.  Already in his pack was an injured hedgehog which he would bring home to mend, then release back to its home once it was healed.

The sun was rising, the air clear and mostly quiet.  "Would you like to run?" he said, leaning forward, speaking to Alagos' ear.  The grey stallion tossed his head, in agreement before taking off like a loosed arrow across the moor.

Colonoscopies

Okay so let me make this clear: Despite how odd it may sound like it would feel to have someone probe your ass and explore your colon, the drugs are amazing and knock you out. You don't remember shit, get an awesome nap, and are kinda high after. Awesome experience. The only bad part is the prep that comes beforehand, but if you find the right prep for you then it is totally easy. Colon cancer is easily preventable, and people should definitely get over their fear of this exam, because I have a phobia of being put under and was totally worried about it, but it's so easy and is so worth it and could save your life. If your parents are nervous explain this to them because it is so easy nothing to worry about.

So I'm having an endoscopy done tomorrow and I'm really really nervous.

I have to be put under for it and I never had surgery or anything so I never been put under before. Literally my biggest fear is that I'll have a panic attack or hyperventilate while taking the anesthesia and not get enough and I'll wake up mid endoscopy with a camera tube down my throat!

I'm also really uncomfortable with the idea of people moving me around while I'm forcibly put to sleep. I don't know how I'm going to react waking up. What if I panic? Or do or say something stupid while I'm still out of it.

I'm so anxious over this. My dad isn't taking me serious because he had onne recently too. He keeps saying "just don't worry about it, its like going to sleep." But, I'm actually afraid. I'm really afraid of the unknown of being put under.

Does anyone have any advice?
