Moon in 10th - Emotional satisfaction with fame and recognition.
Leo Ascendant or Midheaven - Leo Ascendant likes attention, they are warm and charismatic, able to give good impression, put on an act, they can be dramatic. It is often considered an actor placement. Leo Midheaven takes pride in their reputation, being well-known and admired.
Ruler of the 1st House in 10th. Although it can be connected to fame and popularity, it can also be considered a placement for someone who is very professionally motivated to succeed in what they do, be recognized for their work and abilities. Their identity (1st) is connected to recognition and fame (10th).

If I have to say signs, I have read that Aries is often a sign connected to acting, Aries Ascendant/Sun/Mars due to their ability to show action, passion. Sagittarius, Gemini, Leo, Libra as Ascendant or Sun can too be connected to fame due to the nature of these signs (Although the Sun and Ascendant is definitely not the only factor).
Neptune in connection to Ascendant or Midheaven can give a mysterious aura, ability to disconnect from the attention you're getting, change your image. Also a personal observation is the 8th House. Many famous people have a planet (Moon and Mars most prominently) in their 8th House, especially famous people who are more private.
