A common scaly-foot (Pygopus lepidopodus) in Australia's Wheatbelt. Though it looks snake-like, Pygopus are actually legless geckos.

Today's walk was eventful. Some note worthy finds I saw; a legless lizard, it was just chilling in the middle of the road, but lucky it slithered away when I walked away from it. A stag beetle; how cool is that, It was magnificent as they always are :3 And also this beautiful red beetle. It looks kinda ded :c

Burton’s legless lizard aka Burton’s Flap-footed Lizard (Lialis burtonis), female, family Pygopodidae, Australia

This species is quite variable in coloration and pattern. The gold coloration is not common.
