I finally finish the main story of this game and I'm so proud of myself. I don't usually beat games, but I really enjoyed the game mechanics of this game. The feeling of being able to break all your characters by the end of a run was so exhilarating! I do feel I will come back to this game and do some of the post game content. Probably in the distant future though.
I've had this game since high school and I finally go back around to playing it. I always come back to it every few years, but I always tried to play it as a morally good person (which ended up making the game so hard because you really do have to just let some of the cops die sometimes to progress). I used to obsess over doing each day perfectly, I was never able to get passed day 60 of something. I decided for this run I would stop giving a shit about playing perfectly and just run the game. It's so much easier now that I just roll with the punches and I've already hit day 100/180. I love how the story is unfolding. (Also did I mention the studio is releasing a new game set in Hollywood and I'm pretty damn excited about it.)
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life & Stardew Valley
I've been waiting for years for my farming game itch to return. I'm always in the mood for Rune Factory when I new game in that franchise came out; but besides that, I just could never bring myself to get back into farming sims. I put so many hours into Stardew Valley in high school and burnt myself out. But I'm back and I'm ready to indulge. Also been wanting to try out AWL for so long, but I only have the remake so I know it's just slightly shittier than the original. I do have both versions of Friends of Mineral town though. After AWL, I'll see if I'm still in the mood for a farming sim, haha!
I just want to say right now that My Sims (Wii version) SUCKS. It's so damn boring. I loved the ds version as a kid, but I think I only still like it because I have so much nostalgia towards it. BUT My Sims Kingdom? That shit is so damn good. I had the wii game as a kid and was OBSESSED! Still holds up from what I've played so far. I've only finished the first island so far, but I'm very excited to revisit all the cute islands.
Yes, I've really been grinding this game out this past month *spolier: I finally got to the ancient primordial land and it looks awesome. I think that's where I last left of before I got swamped with school.* I'm hoping to come back to it very soon. I'm trying to get better about finishing my games and I feel really good about the progress I've been making in this game
This game is releasing in just two days and I have pre-ordered it earlier today! (I refuse to pay an extra $10 for early access). I've really loved the college and hospital games, so I am so excited to be able to play this one. I feel like it'll satisfy my itch for a great management game (my favorites). I seriously cannot wait.
LOH: Trails in the Sky 1 (original)
I've been playing through this game on and off for about 2 years and I really do love it. It's some of the most engaging game play I've playing in a turn based rpg. Or maybe I just think it's a good time. It's crazy how I don't spend more time with it considering how much I love it. I really do want to return to it more.
Suikoden 1-2 (remastered)
I played a bit of this back in college and absolutely adored the game. It's too bad I sold my PS3 before I could really get into it. I am so thankful for this remaster though so I'll finally get to experience all it's glory. I hope they don't ruin this remaster. I really want it to be a faithful remaster (give or take with mechanics).
I played the demo and loved it. Simple game. I've just been craving restaurant games. Enough said.
This is my knock out game. I play this and I'll fall asleep no more than two hours into playing it. That's why I have such a hefty play time with how little of the story I've gotten through. I'm really just in it for those crazy twist though. This gaming company really knows how to throw you into a loop. I played a bit of 25th Ward before I realized that it's recommended to play Silver Case first. Can I just say that 25 Ward is INSANE. I crave the day I finally finish this game and can return to the 25th ward.
I've been thinking about it a bit. Never finished this one, but I really want to. I hear this game is so damn long though. I might just finish my run I started in high school just to see the story. It's so strange, I still remember a good amount of the beats. I have 19 hours clocked into it and the main story is about 33 hours from online sources? That's not too bad, plus I really miss the cast. The way the cast start off is so funny. I'll have to make time for this game.
