Pyreship - The Liars Bend Low. I went to the Goatwhore/Midnight show last night in Houston and was absolutely delighted to discover this hometown band. Pyreship plays metal just like I remember it in the early 90s: elements of doom and groove, with a hint of stoner metal even. Really great! They were kind enough to sign my album jacket (which has gorgeous artwork) while I fawned at their merch booth. Thanks!
