It was not their car
Roman Hastati getting crushed by an Epiriot war elephant in the Pyrrhic War.
The war was between 280-275 BCE (give or take a year). Between the King of Epirus and the young Roman Republic.
I’m not good at drawing people so the soldier had to be looking away for this drawing to work 😅
my prompt for this week's galladrabbles shall be...
the word "pyrrhic" ✨
excited to see what everyone comes up with!
Thank you, Ling, for being our prompter one week earlier than anticipated!
It's time to get out your history books, dear Galladrabbles Crew.

Pyrrhic - At What Cost? - 2023
Whooaa! Long Beach D-Beat, crusty fuckers!
It might sound petty to you but my hair length is so important to me, and right now focusing on my spilt ends is capable of making me cry. Ever since I lost a lot of it in 2020 I had to cut it because it looked & felt straggly, meaning I had to have a bob/lob for a yr and a half. I was very unhappy in that time because I had lost so much of the only attribute I liked about myself. In 2021 after growing it back to the previous length I lost more hair (thanks to relapse) and it’s sort of straggly again with scattered split ends… but I cannot bring myself to cut it short again.
