6: Have you ever had a TPK?

Nope, although I’ve been close to one. Two weeks ago, the party ended up in a dice game of chance with a yagnoloth. To cut a long story short, @reellifejaneway2‘s wizard Jakarth and my brother’s paladin Siegfried both had their souls taken and I was the last to play, but I managed to catch out the yagnoloth’s associate cheating. The yagnoloth got pissed and killed his associate before we continued the game and I ended up winning everyone’s souls back.

7: What’s your favourite D&D Monster?

My ultimate favourite ‘monster’ is the demon lord Graz’zt, but my favourite monster type are beholders.

18: Have you ever had such an emotional moment that you or a player has cried?

I’ve nearly cried in frustration but I haven’t seen anyone cry properly.

Ohh thank you! This got a little long, sorry about that!

A young woman in her mid-twenties, by herself in an interview for a documentary.

Commander Shepard. I met her once. On Omega, years ago. I didn’t recognize her at the time, though. I was…drunk. And high. I was having a bad time, no money, no food, nowhere to sleep. I was being hassled by some guys in this back alley. These three huge, huge guys. I knew them from around, friends of friends, but they weren’t my friends that day. They…they wanted my money. I only had a few credits, but it was enough for them to assault me. I was crying, screaming for someone to help me, but on Omega nobody listened. Nobody cared. I was just another street rat, and nobody wanted these guys to turn to them next. They were trying to rip my clothes off…I guess they wanted more than money. I thought about just giving up and letting them do whatever they wanted because it would be easier than fighting. But then this woman showed up and totally kicked their asses. I mean completely obliterated them. I had never seen anything like it before. This woman single handedly beat off these three giant thugs. She didn’t even use her guns. It was insane. Anyway, when they were gone she found me a blanket to wrap around myself. She was so nice to me, and I didn’t understand why. She asked me where I lived and if she could walk me home. I was homeless, so she took me to one of the safer hotels in the main city. She bought me a room for a few days, paid for my meals, even got me some new clothes. It was….it was more kindness than anyone had shown me in a while. I asked her who she was and she said her name was Frankie. I asked her why she helped me and she said everybody deserves a little kindness. I was in shock. I kept expecting her to ask me for a favour, for something in return, but she didn’t. All she asked was that I take care of myself and that one day, when I could, to show some kindness to somebody else. My life was never the same after that day. My life didn’t feel worthless anymore. I felt like I mattered again. I got off Omega soon after that. I got clean, I got a job. It wasn’t until a year after that when I saw her, Commander Shepard, on a vid. I recognized her as soon as I saw her. Frankie, the kind woman who saw me when I was invisible. The woman who helped me just because she could. It’s because of her that I’m alive today.

It sucks but sadly dying is par for the course with FPS games, but with Overwatch it does vary depending on what characters you play. Support champs will mostly get slaughtered because they're usually the main focus of the enemy team

Yeah and I’m trying to start with the sturdier, easy heroes (easy according to Blizzard’s ranking) even though the heroes I really want to play are ranked difficult. 

I don’t really get it--get me in this situation--I can be perfectly steady and confident in meetings and presentations with high ranking executives and lawyers but apparently playing games with strangers who have no bearing on my life scares me. Wtf brain.

I'm trying to get help, but the only therapist in our town who accepts new patients currently has a six months wait list, and that of the day unit of the psych ward is two months, too. And I can't afford to go stationary, so I'm on my own until it's my turn on any wait list.

@mistressamell My family, unexpected new debt, the rejection from the last school and complete neglect of myself for several weeks in a row happened. I've been under a lot of emotional pressure ever since I moved back here, and it's finally taking its toll on me.
