Photo of the Day - The Red-billed Pytilia (Pytilia lineata) is endemic to central and western Ethiopia. A bird that can be both locally common and frustratingly difficult to find. It inhabits open grassland and associated woodland, spending the majority of its time on the ground where it moves about unobtrusively.

Time spent near an isolated stream in the Jemma Valley produced this stunning male for Clayton Burne.
