Having to do with your unresolved plot points: spades slick. Didn't hussie give Hume his robotic arm when he "nursed him back to health"?

First of all, I’m terribly sorry for how late I am with this reponse, Tumblr didn’t notify me of this ask at all.

Second, Spades Slick actually already had his robotic arm when he visited Doc Scratch at the Green Moon. After that he’d shoot Snowman, and it was only after THAT happened that Andrew would nurse him back to health. And then Andrew would give him other robotic parts.

So we don’t know where he actually got the robotic arm.

In case there was any doubt about it, even though Homestuck has ended, my passion for it is far from over. In fact, it’s stronger than ever.

On one hand I’m running the Omegaupdate forums, and I’m planning on continuing doing that as long as it’s needed, even in the worst case scenario that the MSPA Forums never come back.

Since yesterday I have also resumed working on Huisarrest, my attempt at translating the entirety of Homestuck into Dutch by myself.

Some day in the following months I will try getting around to updating my EveryCharacterTracker Last Seen Chart with all characters that aren’t in there yet.

And just now I have started rereading Homestuck. While doing this I am planning to see if there are any unresolved plot points I missed that I can still add to my list.

And last but not least, while I am rereading Homestuck I have also decided to start a brand new project: Homestuck from the perspective of each character. For now I am simply taking notes for each character on the chronological order of all Homestuck’s pages from their own perspective, and later, when I’m finished rereading Homestuck, I will be starting “adventures” on the MSPFanventures website for each and every character, one by one, from start to finish.

More on that later, when I’ve finished rereading Homestuck (keep in mind that rereading Homestuck will probably take several months by itself though).

And other than all that, I’m obviously also keeping my eye out for any new things coming from Andrew Hussie himself, such as the Homestuck Books, Hiveswap, Homestuck 2.0 and anything else he might do!

So even though I probably won’t ever be as actively present again as I used to be while Homestuck the webcomic was still updating, I’m far from dead and I’m planning on sticking around.

I’ve finally gotten around to updating my list of unresolved plot points with whatever I can remember that wasn’t cleared up in the ending.

I’ve decided to cross off the items that were only explained in the Homestuck Books. I’d left those items on the list because they were simply “possible” explanations provided by Andrew but could possibly be disproven by canon, but now that Homestuck is over I think these answers we got will do.

Other than those, I’ve also crossed off some things that have been cleared up since the Omegapause:

The heroes have fulfilled one of Calliope’s prophecies:

We’ve now seen how Earth gets to where it is for Caliborn.

The presence of Nektan and Mierfa in Universe C can now be explained by Kanaya and her Matriorb’s presence in Universe C.

We know how Act 6 Act 6 Act 6 was “narrated” and it wasn’t by Caliborn

We knew who gave the note and reminder to Jade and what was written on the note

We know where Alternate Calliope was headed and what she wanted to do there

We know how many rings were needed to ignite the Forge.

Other than that there’s some mysteries (How Gamzee gets to Caliborn’s Earth and why Caliborn is vulnerable to cueballs) I haven’t crossed off yet because we don’t “know” yet, though answers to those were heavily implied in the latest few flashes.

Right now, there’s still slightly less than 100 remaining mysteries for us to speculate on!

If we ever do get answers to those, I assume it will probably be in Homestuck books and/or in other future projects like Hiveswap.

Soon I’ll start rereading Homestuck and see if there’s anything I can still add/change about this list.

I think what I’m going to do is this.

Once I get some more free time, I’m going to update my list of unresolved plotpoints in Homestuck. It’s been out of date since the Omegapause.

Then I will reread Homestuck and in case I find out anything else I forgot to add to the list, I will put it in.

Finally, I will accept the challenge. I’m going to try and create a theory (or multiple) that explain as many unresolved things as I can, to see what I can come up with. :P

So yeah, we now know that to ignite the Forge, the Queen’s rings will be needed. But we don’t know yet how many of them are needed: 1? 2? All rings in the session?

I’ll add this to the list of unresolved plot points.

EDIT: Also, I just realized there’s one of the plot points I forgot to remove: the matter of who Davepetasprite^2 wanted to visit after they left LOMAX. So that’s done too.

After more than 1.5 years, I’m now finally finished with my reread! I started it shortly after the Gigapause started, and I finished now, the 21st of July 2015, shortly before the Omegapause will begin.

Obviously, the posts my Tumblr is publishing right now are definitely FAR from caught up to the present. Those posts are still from Act 6 Act 5.

Everything from then until the present is still in my queue (filled to the maximum), or written down in my Notepad (waiting to be put into the queue).

Which means there’s still a bunch of things for you guys to see. :)

So what’s next?

One of my main goals in this reread was to make a list of each and every thing in the comic that hadn’t been resolved yet. That list is now complete and up to date with the present!

I’m planning on keeping that list up to date until the very end of the comic, so that we can have a complete view on what things were resolved since the Gigapause, and what has not been solved.

Every time a new update raises a new thing that is not immediately resolved in the same update, then I will add it to the list. Similarly, every time an update SOLVES one of the things on my list, then I will strike it through. Each time one of these two happens, I will make a separate post about it. But unlike my actual reread posts, I won’t be queuing these particular posts, I will actually publish them in the present.

Finally, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been reading, liking and reblogging these posts about my reread throughout the years. You’re all amazing. :D

This reread was a very fun one. It’s been so cool to experience some of Homestuck’s finest moments all over again, and spot things I missed before.

Plus, it was the first reread of Act 6 I’ve ever done!

I just realized there’s one of the mysteries on my list that was solved a while ago, but which I forgot to cross of: the meaning of the Ultimate Alchemy!

We now know that this is how all the grist hoards are used to feed the Genesis Frog within Skaia..

That means out of the 83 mysteries on my list, 3 of them now have a clear answer to them! Further than that there’s 3 which have gotten a possible answer in a Homestuck book, and 1 which will get an answer in Hiveswap presumably.

So that means there are still 76 mysteries that are not guaranteed to get an answer at some point, about which we can only theorize right now. And there are probably still more I will encounter during the rest of my reread.

I’m very curious how many of these will be resolved before the end of Homestuck. I hope as many as possible.
