Eurovision 2010s: 295 - 291
BOREWHORE SLAUGHTER AHEAD!!!
(not much to say other than, holy fuck most of these are BORING)
295. Anja - “Where I Am” Denmark 2017
[2017 Review here]
Anja Nissen has a good voice. 😊

294. Amber - “Warrior” Malta 2015
Amber is a very good example of an anti-Sennek, where a good, if simplistic song is completely destroyed by overdoing it. Original “Warrior” was an uncomplicated, but uplifiting song that really let Amber’s vocals shine, so what is this piece of unadulterated Michael Bay movie soundtrack? A) of all, we already had a “Warrior” (Nina Sublatti <3) and B) we also already have an Edurne to deliver us decidedly non-Epic “Epic” staging. Amber just feels so redundant? Whatever, moving on.

293. Sevak Khanagyan - “Qami” Armenia 2018
[2018 Review here]
#BadKarma -- Tamar Kaprelian. 😈
To be fair, “Qami” isn’t too bad, but dear god is it insipid. Normally good staging would be able to amend that, like it has for many other boring entries I still have to rank, but Armenia recently decided to suck at staging, so... 🙄

292. Michael Rice - “Bigger than us” United Kingdom 2019
A three minute penis joke... which totally lost because of the Brexit and not because it’s forgettable, repetitive and boring. 🤔

291. Harel Skaat - “Milim” Israel 2010
Lol are there still “Millim” fans out there? The song isn’t too bad for a ballad, I guess, but we’ve seen much better since, including: Silent Storm, Arcade, Not Alone, Proud,... The list goes on and it’s likewise time to move on. Also, that live voice... 😬
