In a hilarious twist of fate, I had pitched the starting concept as an adoptable AU. I’m so glad this idea found a good home, and I’m very excited about the end result. I hope you’ll check out the fic on ao3!
Summary
Wei Wuxian is dead…and Qin Su is alive for now. After finding out Jin Guangyao’s schemes, she makes a run for it all the while knowing she’s unlucky to be carrying his unborn son. Yet, luck strikes her way when Hanguang-jun saves her and her unborn son from a fated death through marriage. The only catch in all of this is that, if her husband’s true love returns, she must allow there to be a mutual parting.
With so much on the line, maybe a mutual parting will be harder than she thinks. And yet maybe not if her heart is also swaying for someone else at the same time.
