a year ago i was a small blog with literally no friends in this phandom. i had very little support from friends irl and was just dealing with a lot of shit. one day while avoiding studying, i scrolled past a network application for people 18-24 who were in the phandom. i thought “perfect” and sent an application. i honestly didn’t think that i would be accepted. like who would want to be friends with me?

not too much longer after that did i get a message from anushka asking me for my kik (rip kik you shit app). i was overjoyed and couldn’t believe that i had actually been accepted. i was terrified of what people would think of me and how comfortable i would be with them. i honestly didn’t click with the group immediately because i was close to my final exams week and really needed to dedicate my time to studying for those. i was afraid that this would make me not as close but it didn’t matter, they all took me in and made me feel loved regardless.

these women have been here for me through everything. from the happiest times of my life and supporting my successes, to my lowest moments and failures. i have laughed, cried, and drunk texted with these amazing people for the past year and it has been incredible. i don’t know what i would have done without them when i went through a horrendous breakup and subsequent mental spiral. they’ve been with me through it all.

i can’t wait to meet all of them one day and i want to keep their friendship throughout my life. hell, i might go to grad school with one of them and work on research with her. so thank you @quarterlifecrisesphannies for bringing me the best friends i could have asked for. i love all of you so so dearly and can’t wait for our adventures together.
