literally gong shangjue and shangguan qian
honestly the most unbearable scene in clj to me is the dream sequence in ep 31. i can watch xlh stabbing herself with the sword (ep 31) and dfqc disappearing, leaving only a bone orchid (ep 36) again and again, but i can't do it with the dream sequence.
dfqc was burning his own primordial spirit to keep the dream running....he'd rather perish in his dream of a married life with xlh instead of waking up in a world where they didn't even get to be wedded. a mundane life with xlh was what he wanted. this put it into perspective of how painful it must have been for him too to decide to drive her away when what he longed for is a life together with her.

i understand xiao yao i want someone who looks at me like i'm their whole world and shows their devotion not only through words but their actions as well too.
xiang liu is so tempting but he......doesn't guarantee a future where xiao yao will never be left alone due to his background and the nature of his uh job. this hurts even more bcs my favourite ml is xiang liu lol but i like yaojing as well due to the stability, security, and assurance that tushan jing may be able to provide. but it still fucking hurts bcs as the watchers we see the length that xiang liu is willing to go to just for xiao yao and i'm sure that the feelings are not unrequited as well.
imo xiang liu is the one that xiao yao's heart craves, but the one that her life needs is tushan jing.
i think that had the situation been different, xiang liu would allow himself to hoard xiao yao's affection and attention to himself. if he wasn't general xiang liu of the chenrong army, if he didn't have a debt of gratitude to pay for, he wouldn't have to let her go.
started watching mob psycho 100 today since a friend recommended it to me and i ended up watching the first two episodes (will be watching the rest later).
my thoughts so far: reigen's such a loser (affectionate); he's not just scamming his clients, but also a kid too lmao 💀 whenever he spews some righteous bullshit to mob my eyes twitch like what are you talking about my guy! but i don't dislike him—or, well, it's actually way too early for me to form any kind of connection with the characters so at the moment, i can only say that i find him entertaining.
i didn't know that some people think that the actor of li tongguang is a miscast 😯 i actually think that he fits the role quite well tho sometimes i feel that he's more of a wet puppy instead of a cunning wolf.... so scenes of him being "intimidating" and "domineering" didn't really work for me. still, it didn't take my enjoyment away so all is well 👍
