yall have heard about hr620, right? the ada education and reform act? well if u havent take a moment to google it and then come back. in short, hr620 makes it REALLY difficult to sue businesses for discrimination for not following the ada, thus taking away the incentive for businesses to follow it. crappy, yeah?

well u can do something about it!!!! it was passed in the house of representatives in february, and is now in the senate. what u can do is WRITE TO UR SENATOR URGING THEM TO VOTE AGAINST IT!!! whether ur disabled or u just actually give a crap about people who are, do it!!! the senate currently is republican majority but that doesnt mean this bill has to pass!!!! write to ur senator, make a difference, dont let hr620 pass!!

RIP

While I came to work last night and was changing at the staff locker,

My friend from recruit life of my national service came.

Everything we talked about was like the norm till he asked, "dude, you remember Afiq?"

"He's dead man, see this article" he passed me a small cut out of an obituary.

It was the friend we knew from our recruit stage.

The sad thing is not only we lost our friend, but you finding out that that your has passed on a whole week ago and only finding it our from a stupid article in the obituary in the papers?

Even with this age of communication, its really saddening.

Now I still have no clue why he passed away, cuz I didnt get to be there during his funeral.

Still it makes me wonder, how come we all know that death is sudden but still can't prepare for it?

Btw he is just 21, my age. A whole life was waiting for him.

I just pray that he is in a better place now.
