ty & grunk in my smplive/qsmp au are Way Older by the time they find out connor is dead. as their Memories of his death were wiped by the federation at first, when they Left smplive, they believed connor had Disappeared.

a Big Motivating Factor for their departure from smplive was Obviously ... to find connor. he was one of the people who took them in and Raised them so Obviously they still held a Deep Connection to him

they travel across multiple smps to find him and when they find his Ghost chilling in qsmp 2 with katie b they Don't. Know how to feel. Just my Au-lings 🥹

I'm glad you made that AU because I noticed something really nice about Jschlatt in qsmp

From things I've seen in my career, I know that Jschlatt has a lot of defense mechanisms to cope with pain (repression, isolation, and denial). It seems so real to me that he either doesn't remember Connor or simply doesn't want to talk about him, even though it hurts him a lot and he knows it + The fact that Connor is dead is so gory, we can never be happy on this ship

i finally decided on a cause of death for connor. the feds got his ass 😭‼️ connor's death was actually the cause for ty and grunk to leave smplive as they were a bit older when it happened. schlatt and katie actually came home to the incident.

tubbo was hardly old enough to remember it at all, ty & grunk only had their memory of connor's death erased (so they still remember him), and the federation completely erased most of katie's memories of connor (as well as a lot of her memory of smplive, though she still remembered fragments) before taking her away. schlatt however was forced to hold every memory including connor's death. in fact they made his death one of schlatt's most prominent memories (who else loves torturing they faves)

whenever katie asks about connor all schlatt can see is connor's body surrounded by his blood on that floor. so naturally he strays away from talking about connor

ive been letting this one Marinate in the depths of my tiktok story but Nobody Gaf abt my tiktok story so im posting it here.

in my smplive/qsmp katie b au, dsmp and sdmp Never Happened. in the large time gap between smplive & qsmp, ty and grunk go off on their own, and connor ... Well. He Dies. (idk how yet bare with me!)

so anyway katie b struggles with Memory Loss from the federation (shakes fist angrily. How dare we speak merry christmas How Dare We.) and the only things she remembers about connor are

his name

he raised her with schlatt

she doesnt remember what he looked like or sounded like. it Kills her to know she cant remember her dad. and schlatt is Not telling her Anything about connor . he still hasn't come to terms with his death & his train of thought is : if i ignore it It Didn't Happen

so anyway as a spirit connor likes to chill in many different smps and while he's hanging out in qsmp he sees. katie. Gasp. connor Of Course misses her but she looks surprised and confused at his presence & wondering who he is so he Reasons: Damn. she dont remember me Sadge

for Convenience Reasons (and also because he doesn't Really have the heart to tell her who he really is) he says he's a "Wandering Spirit" which is half-true anyway.

connor ends up being katie's "Ghost Friend" and she truly believes that he and the connor that raised her sharing a name is Just A Coincidence. (its not). i think its important to note "well what if schlatt sees him??" Uhhhh he cant 🙂 katie is the only one that sees connor and she Surprisingly catches onto that quicker than she catches onto The Other Thang.

^ however schlatt does eventually know that connor is there !!! and katie does find out who connor is eventually. Idk how yet though. again this is just my big Work in Progress Slop
