i am once again suffering from Phil brainrot, this time specifically about a few things that i noticed yesterday with how he speaks to/about all of the eggs -but specifically how he did with Richas and Pomme in the dungeon and after.
when they were in the dungeon, Phil never let the eggs out of his sight. he kept backtracking and zooming in to try and find their name tags behind walls. he payed tangential attention to what Forever and Pierre were talking about, but mostly, he kept his attention in never leaving any egg completely alone.
even when earlier on the same stream he was talking about how it was obvious richas was strong with how his parents let him roam around at his own liking; and even as they starte the dungeon he kept mentioning to Pomme and Tallulah how he was cracked, and clearly strong. but even with that, Phil kept calling out, making sure richas knew he wasnt alone and that him, Tallulah and Pomme were right around the corner. when Pierre and Forever found another area and kept going, Phil stayed behind calling for Richas, and when he told Phil "you can keep going, I'll catch up" Phil goes "ah, but you see Richarlyson, I dont leave eggs behind. When we move on, we do it as a team: we do it as a family"
he then pushed a little more until he found out how to make Richarlyson keep going -after trial an error, and maybe one day I'll talk about how cool the way that Phil finds how the eggs work is.
and then the conversation with Pomme later, when he was about to leave. Pomme let him know what had happened to Dapper, and how Richas had had to hold her back from going. He reassured her that it was a good thing that she had stayed safe, and that as strong and brave as she was, it was his and the parents' job to take care of her and her siblings. "if something is happening, no matter how strong or confident, you let the parents take the front, ok? that's what were here for"
idk, all in all i think it speaks volumes. cause clearly Phil is one of the parents who is more trusting of his children, of all of the eggs, actually: he never doubts how strong or capable they are. but he's also incredibly aware of how fragile the eggs are, in a way (like he says, due to their form of communication they cant communicate mid battle to let others know they are low on health, they cant let others know if they are surrounded or overwhelmed, which is, i assume, why he will never let an egg out of his eyesight on a dungeon), and mr hardcore minecraft knows that surprises when youre feeling confident are the easiest way to get got (baby zombie anyone?)
idk, i hope Phil can spend some more time with the eggs other than his own in the future, i think his way of seeing both them and the world/game could be an incredible influence in all of the eggs
