BASICALLY WHAT I’VE BEEN HOLLERIN’ ABOUT FOR AGES. It was like a big confirmation for me that my headcanon was always right.
I KNOW RIGHT. I mean, honestly, I remember reading one of your posts about this a while ago and it was like, "YES! This is what I was thinking but didn't have the words for."
And I mean, I think that's the difference between Ambrose and Moxley. Moxley was actually just insane, but Ambrose - he's not just PG Mox. He just wears the "lunatic fringe" moniker as a kind of shield.

You and me are on the same wavelength today, God bless. I found myself thinking, “Oh, Joey…kinda wish you’d come back to the ring just so I can see your adorable round head more often.”
Joey Mercury's character on RAW is my favourite since it's like he's got two jobs - delivering bad news to Triple H or separating Stephanie McMahon from Brie Bella or vice versa. It's fantastic, but yes I would like to see more. Those kind brown eyes, god. And dude, this Shield doc was basically perfect, like even the bits that were so fucking cheeseball (Ambrose posing in the desert, I was like 'what the fuck is this shit, knock these sunglasses off this fucking dork') were glorious. And I'm not sure why but it just took me back to when I first got back into WWE in May 2013, watching endless Shield vs Team Hell No matches (THE GOOD OL' DAYS) and looking into this Dean Ambrose cat and being the moe excited the more I learned. Like this was just one of the first guys whose passion and character I immediately latched onto and then I realised that I didn't just dig him for the hell of it, he was actually really friggin' good. And not only was he good, he was special, which made me even more invested in whatever would happen to him and this group. Not to take anything away from the other two, but it's not even like a fangirl thing, it's just a fan thing: I liked Dean, first and foremost, and it's always nice to remember why that was and still is the case.
