Vampire Duck Cels “The New Adventures of Heckle & Jeckle and Quacula” (1979)
I seem to be in a vampire ducks mood lately. While looking at Count Duckula stuff online, I discovered this guy, Filmation’s Quacula. Quacula is a vampire duck living in the basement of a rundown mansion on the edge of a swamp, a mansion owned by a bear named Theodore. In the book “Lou Scheimer: Creating The Filmation Generation”, it is stated that Quacula didn’t drink blood: he instead fed off the fear he inspired in others, in particular in Theodore. I know he’s not exactly a popular character, but I like him. His antics make me laugh, and I love his mischevious grin.
