First Take Points: 3 - for real, this is pasta confetti! i know the scale is hard to tell from this picture i found on the interwebs, and i actually think that this might be a pic of larger quadretti, while my package was truly full of confetti-sized tiny pasta squares. i thought perhaps that the smaller version might be called 'quadrettini' but my internet searches don't seem to be supporting that theory. *shrug*
i love pasta confetti! i put it in chili! and it was amazing!
Remix Bonus Points: 3 - good soup pasta for sure, altho also good for cold pasta salads. basically, anything that orzo or anelli would be good in, quadretti would be good in.

and like other small pastas, it is highly satisfying (and amusing) to dig my hand down into a bag full of dry quadretti, like a dragon playing in her pile of gold.
Annoyance Deductions: 0 - listen though! what is the one annoying thing about confetti? the cleanup, right? months later you're finding it in your shoes and in your closet and under your entertainment center and the bird nests in your front yard are all decorated with it. but this is not a problem with quadretti! it stays nice and contained in the crockpot. cleanup is a breeze, just eat it and voila!
Alternative Uses: if you think i didn't throw this gleefully in the air on NYE, and if you think i won't take every opportunity to throw it gleefully into the air on other appropriate occasions (birthdays, weddings, midterm exams, real estate inpections, launching a new boat, going to the library, et al.), then you don't know me AT ALL.
