In today’s scenario when work from home is the only way we can protect ourselves from COVID-19 and also complete our work, sedentary lifestyle is becoming a habit. We spend almost all of our day glued to our laptop screens and just manage to get our meals in short breaks.
This often leads to body stiffness and back pain. What you need to do in order to avoid such a situation is take regular breaks in between. Set a schedule for yourself and make it a point to take 5-10-minute breaks from your work. Get up from your desk, stroll in your home and do the following stretches to keep neck, back and body pain at bay.

Probably the most relaxing stretches of all time, standing stretches brings along a lot of relief for the body. A good stretch instantly makes us feel relaxed and calms down all our tensed muscles. If you are sitting at your desk for a very long time, then this stretch is a must-do.
For this stretch, stand straight on the ground with your feet together. Raise your arms upwards and clasp your hands together. Now stretch as much as you can and bend a little both towards the left. Come back to the same position and bend towards the right direction.
