The younger you get too old to argue the better. -- Michael Lipsey
Signs of a prideful heart:
-is dishonest about others -looks down on others -loves to quarrel -hates seeing others be prideful -cannot hear/take correction -unwilling to lay down your preferences for others
God hates pride.
Signs of a humble heart:
-high view of God -submissive to authority -eager for good works -uses wise&gentle speech -does not argue for fun -listens & can be taught -seeks forgiveness and reconciliation
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
