Summary: Jestro is in the hospital, Clay checks on him and Macy needs to do something

Chapter 7: Questions and Answers
Clay got to the Hospital and Macy explained what she knew and she started crying so Clay held her in a hug until she calmed down and they started walking with the doctor
"Hes alive but he has a lot of damages done to his body," The doctor explains while leading them to Jestros room "he has a couple of wounds and we found a nasty scar on his back, it must have been from monstrux cause it looks recent," the doctor looked at the charts before continuing" the scar started off small from what we gathered but the more Monstrux electrocuted him the more it grew and the worse it got" the doctor explains "and what that group did made the damages worse, they broke some of his ribs, stabbed his leg, and gave him horrible cuts that aren't easy to heal. We've also noticed his physical body being different with the changes from the past few months, it still functions normally but his physical appearance is different and unchangeable, but they don't affect his health in any way."
The doctor stopped at Jestro's room but didn't immediately let them in wanting to ask a few questions
"What's your relationship with Jestro?" Clay answered first "Hes my friend I've been letting him stay with me for the past 2 weeks" Macy responded next "We used to be friends but it's really complicated" The doctor nodded "Okay then is there any signs of mental issues" Clay looked scared but nodded and explained what he knew without giving to much but enough to the doctor "Okay that's good to know have these been around before Monstrux, like when he was younger?" Clay thought for a moment before answering with what he knew as the doctor listened before asking a follow up question "How long has he been insecure for or when did it start?" Clay thought again "Well when we were younger and before we got into the academy he used to have some insecurities and then we got in and it got worse cause of the kids making fun of him" The doctor nodded and had one more question "Do you know if he has any parents or guardians growing up?" Clay looks shocked "No before the academy he didn't have parents then he had Merlok for a bit but it was only for a couple of months, he was an orphaned child" the doctor wrote that down "Alright you can see him but he's still passed out from everything" they opened the door and clay went in
Clay saw Jestro passed out on the bed, but he was breathing and alive thanks to the wires being hooked up to him. "Clay I'm really sorry this happened I didn't mean for him to get hurt" Macy said and Clay gave her a reassuring look "Hey Macy its okay I know you didn't mean for this to happen" they both looked at the bandages and clay sighed "I should have told him what I heard last night maybe this wouldn't have happened" Macy looked confused and more worried "Clay what are you saying?" Clay looked at her and felt his heart racing remembering what Jestro said about himself
After a few minutes of explaining what he heard, Macy covered her mouth with her hands "That's why he didn't fight back, he wanted to be killed, oh my gosh, what are we going to do Clay?" Clay looks scared and about to cry "I don't know Macy I feel like I didn't try hard enough for him what if its my fault though, I didn't catch up to him when he knocked out the power, I couldn't get through to him, and I nearly killed him" Clay covered his face in regret
"Clay it's not your fault it's Monstruxs fault, don't blame yourself though, right now we need to figure out what to do next" Macy thought for a moment and got something but didn't tell Clay "Clay go back in there and be with Jestro alright" She said holding his shoulders
"Alright thank you for this I'm glad I can talk to you" He said smiling and heading back in Jestro's room. Meanwhile Macy headed back out and got to the throne room where her parents are waiting
"Dad I want to ask you something" Macy said with confidence "Oh of course Macy what is it?" King Halbert said "When is your next speech going to be?" Macy asked "Why in 2 days," Her father answered "is there something you wanna do for it?" Macy nodded "I would like to speak in it, cause there something the kingdom needs to know" Queen Halbert looks at her husband and waits for him to respond "Of course you may Speak Macy may I ask what are you going to tell the kingdom" Macy didn't answer them but instead said ""I want everyone to hear it for the first time that means the both of you as well" Both the king and queen looked shocked but still let her speak "Of course "Its about Jestro that's all I'm going to say" both of the nodded after a moment respecting there daughters decision
