can’t stop thinking about merthian,,,

beautiful and talented queen of nemeth visiting camelot and everyone is like “are they getting married this time?” and nope! mithian is dragging merlin through the lower town laughing her ass off, both of them covered in mud, while some incoherent yelling is following them. oh yeah and mithian? the queen? dressed in what looks like one of merlin’s outfits. pants and all!!

merlin whispering in both arthur and mithian’s ears as the feast progresses, making fun of the snobby nobles and sharing the gossip he catches. mithian choking on her wine as she stifles a laugh while arthur just bites back a smile, all too used to merlin’s antics

Me realizing after half a decade that the reason I ship Merlin with Mithian is because Mithian is similar to Arthur in some ways 🤯🤯🤯

5. Isolde. A badass woman who ran away from her destiny and lives for love and adventure. But still has a strong moral and principles. She's awesome. Bonus point : Tristan because one cannoy be separated from the other.

4. Leon. Honor, strength, loyalty, a good sense of humor, a good head on his shoulders, doesn't bend down for bullshit, lies and deceit. The right hand, the steadfast one.

3. Mithian. A queen. Smart, clever, observant, she knows what she wants and she'll get it. Wish we had seen more of her. Bonus point : Elena because I totally ship these two.

2. Gwaine. MY KNIGHT. Sassy, cocky, smartass. Loyal, true, heartfelt. Kind and warm. He's a diamond in the rough. He's also my fav from Chrétien de Troyes' stories (okay, in most Arthurian legends material, he's my fav).

1. Morgana. MY QUEEN. She's everything I want to be and everything I want in my life. She's smart. She's cunning. She's compassionate. She has strong moral values and principles and she'll burn the whole world down to rebuild it better, kinder, gentler. The world hurt her and made her the twisted version of herself most version of Arthurian adaptations make her, but that isn't all who she is. And she deserves so much better. She deserves love and respect and to be heard because she knows what she's talking about.

(Please ask me things about Arthurian legends. I could ramble for hours.)
