Parallels

POSSIBLE WINGLETS HERO SPOILERS

So I might've spiralled a little after finishing winglets hero and was thinking about the interesting parralels between Ruby and Hailstorm. That Ruby is still recognised as herself, as tourmaline by Jasper. Her indetity is still secure and upon the truth being revealed she is allowed a choice between Tourmaline and Ruby. Hailstorm isn't recognised despite how many clues Winter is given and upon being revealed he is expected to return to the person he was.

Anyway if you might've noticed the text is quoted from uh a certain two indie games. By which I'm saying yes this is the Undertale and Deltarune (ch1 and 2) Mirror dialogue I've not seen many compare the two despite the fact they both are really powerful on their own and contrast well together. I guess I chose this due to the themes of Undertale and Deltarune with Undertale being focused on choice for Ruby who chose to stay Ruby despite her being an animus enchantment. And Deltarune being focused on having a lack of choice for Hailstorm who longs to have the choice over his own identity he is denied.

Anyway my brain has exploded.

There was also a huge tone shift with the "Ghouls Out for Summer" storyline that could be another, more mature movie all its own and could set up tons of future stuff!

The only thing I think I missed was a story where Scary Godmother almost got married??? Like I may have skipped over it by mistake, but I was like... uhhhh.... when did that happen?

...

Anyway, the book is filled with comics galore from the 90s to now, with tons of characters and moments that never made it into the 2 specials.
