I was just a kid the first time I laid eyes on this marvel of Queen Anne architecture. It's the main reason I fell in love with the style and became fascinated with the Victorian architecture of the Northeast. I used to go see it on cloudy days around Halloween because I loved how spooky it looked. . . up on a hill, gated, and desolate. Today was an overcast day so I decided to bring my little brother along in hopes that he will learn to not only appreciate the house, but also the style. I hope these houses continue to be preserved for many generations to come.
