So like sometime last year me and the bros were going to make a comic version of Runaway but then I got hella busy with freelance work so....it never happened sadly :< But while looking through my external hard-drive I found this ref of Queen Diamond I did for the project! I had forgotten I did it, and I liked how she turned out so hey, why not upload it? In the book I can't remember if her colors are described exactly, so I gave her a cold grey color, as well as a few markings on her scales, which she probably shared with her mother and siblings, and were therefore also passed down to Snowfox (tho they would be more prominent in Fox). Besides her colors, she has a lot of jewelry" "Ice-blue diamonds cascaded from her ears and around her neck and all along her tail band, but none of them glittered as sharply or as dangerously as her eyes.” I also made her First Circle necklace embedded with diamonds as well. When compared to her son Arctic http://diverteddreamstudios.tumblr.com/post/168694007063/so-since-arctic-is-my-favorite-wings-of-fire she has a much thicker build, as well as spines that curve upward. On the bottom of the page you can see the difference in head shapes between her, Arctic, and Snowfox. The Snowfox design is by Scourgeseer I think that's all for this piece!
