QUEENIE- “I already signed her permission slip to go, Chester, what is wrong with you?  She will be a senior next year, she is not a child. She is a very intelligent young woman, and the only one of our three daughters that really want to do anything meaningful with their lives.

CHESTER- “What do you mean, Judith is a famous soap star and Nancy ...well Nancy is Nancy.”

QUEENIE- Precisely, sign the authorization slip and let’s go!”

CHESTER- “It’s in Strangerville, Queenie, do you know what is going on out there?”

QUEENIE- “Something strange I imagine, isn’t that why they call it Strangerville?”

MEREDITH- “That is why. you..well Landgraab Industries are sending scientists there dad ..to investigate. It’s something to do with the vegetation there.”

QUEENIE- “See, she already knows more than you do about it. Sign the sheet, and let’s go to the museum...”

MEREDITH- “Oh thank you mother!!  This is going to be so much fun!!  Me in Strangerville studying with some of the best scientist in the world!”

QUEENIE- “Well, darling, I wouldn’t go that far, they work for Landgraab Industries.

CHESTER- “I don’t remember saying yes, Meredith....

QUEENIE- “Chester, we need to go....NOW!”

CHESTER- “Meredith, we discussed this. I just don’ think it is a very good idea for you to go clear across the county to Strangerville for the entire summer. They say there are strange phenomenons going on over there”

MEREDITH- “But this retreat is being headed by your science department Dad.”

CHESTER- “And they are professionals and have the knowledge to know what to do in situations that you have no idea about.”

MEREDITH- “Exactly, and that is why they are chaperoning us Dad. I am not going to be out there all alone, I will be with YOUR people.”

CHESTER- “Oh my dear sims...Meredith I still don’t think it is a very good idea Meredith, anything could happen.”

MEREDITH- “You won’t let me go, but you send an entire science team there in harms way that have family back here...If it wasn’t safe, for the most part, none of them would go dad.”

CHESTER- “Meredith, that is what scientist do. They risk everything to find what they are looking for.”

MEREDITH- “EXACTLY, and how can I learn to be a scientist if I do not get every opportunity to learn what I need to know??
