The library was impressive.

Celes slipped in quietly, glancing at the spiral staircases that ran all of the way up to the top, the domed roof, the woodwork in the bookcases...it was all very impressive.

Her thoughts led her to remembering the Imperial Library as she examined the woodwork, fingers tracing the patterns. Bathed in red, black, and gold, the only thing that she could say it had that matched this library was the spiral staircases. The rest of the place was very simple. Clean. Not much was in the way of an 'antique design,' as the Emperor wanted what he felt was a more modern look. To him, the Empire should always be looking into the future, not thinking about the past.

"Hm...." Either way, the Imperial library was gone now. As well as everything else in Vector. The one thing Celes did love about the Imperial library was its plush red cushioned seats. There were a handful of times she could recall hiding in there on a bad day when she was much younger...soon after her infusions. There, she'd attempt to read something that was more fiction (and often out of depth for one as young as five), and fall asleep in one of the seats. And she did remember succeeding at least once.
