Gentle reminder that if you're queer and unsure what to label yourself as because you can't find that perfect label, "close enough" is good enough. As long as you understand what you mean by a specific label and you're comfortable using it that's all that matters <3
Y’all, holy fuck
There are so many different ways humans are beautiful
So many different features we have, from big things like your physical build to the ways our skin tones change in certain areas, and how even that can vary with qualities like eye circles, freckles, birthmarks, vitiligo and rosacea
And OH MY GOD HAIR
Hair or lack thereof can be so beautiful
Muscle definition & size combined with fat distribution creates so many different mesmerizing body types, not even factoring in skeletal structure
Chubby bodies, skinny bodies, lean bodies, muscly bodies, fatter bodies, spindly bodies, AND SO MANY BETWEEN are so gorgeous
Moral of the story NEVER KILL YOURSELF, THERE’S SO MUCH WONDER AND BEAUTY IN YOU AND IT CAN TAKE SO LITTLE TO FIND IT
I love the queer community and being part of the queer community. We can certainly be messy, but queer people are some of the kindest people I've met and we work to free ourselves and others. I love queer people. Queer can be such a great word to defiantly declare ourselves without having to be clear and firm and unchanging on specifics. Queer people are so diverse and so wonderful. Queer people are femme, masc, androgynous, tender, tough, young, old, and combinations and in between all those things and more.
If you don't identify as queer then leave this post alone or be respectful. This is a queer appreciation post.

PRIDE APPRECIATION POST
I need to post something because I am overwhelmed with appreciation
I know that most people here wouldnt be surprised by my experience and neither am I but I want to share it anyway since it was just so important to me.
Ive gone to a local pride festival and I was very excited because Ive never been to one in my home country and I didnt know how the local community here was.
And I have some minor problems with my blood pressure at times and I get dizzy easily especially in heat ( + I take Antidepressivs which can influence you heat tolerance as well). We stood in a crowd in the blasting midday sun and I started feeling nauseous and dizzy. I told my friends and we went to the edge of the street where I sat down and passed out.
Within less than 5 seconds of being on the floor, there were people around offering their help and asking if I was okay. This group of adults in their 30ies offered a place to sit in the shade, got me ice and held it on my neck, got me water, fanned me with cool air and gave me gummies. After 5 minutes I felt great again and even then they continued to make sure that we'll be fine and we would be safe.
Ive been to big events with a similar or even bigger amount of people and Ive never seen a community as caring as this. I couldnt be more proud of this movement and the people that support it/ are a part of it. I am so thankful for everyone making this world a better place to live in and those people gathering at one place is so incredible to experience.
Wooop woop went to my first pride event! Almost cried to the drag queens dancing! It was beautiful and so were they! (Not telling where it was though Internet safety people!)
I'm def keeping my goal of writing and creating more inclusive queer media that was beautiful and freeing.
Rant about it below!
