I adored Jess

I loved the romance, Jess and Abby are both so sweet and they are so cute around each other

The world building was great, and I’m really interested to see how the politics behind the superheroes is developed further

There were many small but great teenager things: Jess, Bells, and Emma messaging each other and just acting like teens, Jess dealing with being the ‘ordinary’ child of superhero parents, Jess’ crush on Abby and dealing with that whilst working with her

Overall I really loved this book, the story and the characters were really engaging and I can’t wait for the sequel

I finally finished Not Your Sidekick (which was soooooo good) and with that I've finished the For The Busy level of the #queer52 challenge of reading 12 books! Just 12 more to level up.

This line in Timekeeper awoke Holes feelings that have evidently been buried in my heart for over a decade, and thanks to those residual feelings, this line feels way more important and sweet, like it's a marriage proposal or something
