Yes, it’s more crowded, more expensive, and just MORE, but it’s also just starting to present the True diversity of experiences it promised in Its A Small World. And the range of opportunities, from Star Wars to Coco, from princesses to the inside of a mind that lets neurodivergent folks know they belong here too. Do they have a long way to go? ABSOLUTELY! Am I thrilled to be watching these changes in my lifetime? YES! From Ohana to Wakanda Forever, I hope Disney continues to reflect the wide range of experiences in our world and uses their massive influence to make a difference for marginalized folks.
