Tomorrow, June 1st, marks the beginning of Pride Month. Pride is a celebration, but it’s also a reminder of why Pride exists. The first Pride was a riot. It began after the Stonewall uprising, when LGBTQIA+ people stood up against discrimination, harassment, and violence and demanded the right to live openly and authentically. More than 50 years later, we still celebrate Pride because visibility matters. We still march because LGBTQIA+ people continue to face discrimination, violence, and attacks on our rights. We celebrate queer and trans joy because our joy is powerful, our communities are resilient, and everyone deserves to live as their authentic self. This Pride Month, we honor those who fought before us, stand with those fighting today, and continue building a world where everyone can be seen, loved, and free to be who they are. Happy Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

pride 2025

pride look yesterday. it was indoors so i brought this button-up shirt along in case i got chillay, and i was chilly the whole time so i just looked like a gay dad at pride. oh well!

went by myself but found a friend who was also alone right after i walked in the doors, so we banded together and checked out the booths together. found two more friends who i sat with when my original friend had to leave, then i left after a bit, so i wasn't alone at all this pride! success! forgor to take photos at the actual event again but oh well!
