absolutely not. i saw a job posting that had ‘meat company’ as the actual company name, and i said aha, i am no fool, i know what that means

and then i saw that it said ‘$25 an hour’ and ‘part time flexible schedule’ and i said well, it won’t hurt to at least apply, that’s nearly twice what i make now and my school schedule changes each semester, surely jared boneturner will not kill me if he needs someone to file papers, and perhaps i will enjoy my new and different bones

2007? We must have had a different version, as I grew up on a colourised VHS of It’s a Wonderful Life. For me, Jimmy Stewart running down the street in his red jumper always stuck in my head. When I first saw the black and white version at about nine or ten, I was completely baffled!

Yeah, there was a 1986 version (that was remastered for 1989) and a 2007 version.

I think that's actually the 80s one you're watching.

It’s possible, we couldn’t figure out but I assumed the 2007 version because the color work seemed better done than other colorization I’ve seen from the 80s. How would one know the difference?

That was my thought! Rewrite A Christmas Carol with HF Potter. But I’m so tired of the Christmas Carol trope, because you know exactly where it’s going. I’m considering it. :D

Your tags are so relatable. Buying men's clothes made me actually not hate shopping.

as a kid i was always a nightmare to find clothes for, because i hated shopping for them with a passion and could never find things i even liked in the first place

now i actually..... genuinely like it, minus the whole “hating spending money” and “a lot of things don’t fit me because i’m small” parts. if it weren’t for those two things i’d have no hang-ups about it at all, and i’m pretty sure it’s because i’m still at a point where buying the things i want to actually feels like it’s validating my gender identity and i kind of get a rush from it

so it’s pretty obvious to me that what i actually hated was girls’ clothing

I have actually!! I've actually found a place that's both nature & really classy and fancy! so the best of both vibes :) I still have to decide how many people I want to invite & also I need to visit the place, but it's looking good so far!

I’m okay. I just got completely blindsided. I mean, I know there are children of drug addicts everywhere. But we never talk about it, because you learn how to keep a secret about the same time you learn to form a sentence, so... yeah. It’s rare to get slapped in the face with the stark harshness of your own goddamn life in fucking HD. I don’t think I can finish the movie, tbh.
