we don't really know exactly what their practices were in terms of religious expression or customs but we do know quarians practiced ancestor worship pre-exile and this was actually the thing that led directly to the war

they would basically take personality imprints and make VIs out of them and these got increasingly sophisticated to the point where they were trying to make a giant database with the collective wisdom of the ancestors

that was how the geth learned enough to ask "does this unit have a soul?" when the geth became sentient they started perusing that database and found the term.

we don't really know what they practice now on the fleet if anything but Shala makes reference to the ancestors when opening the trial IIRC so i'd assume that is still the crux of their religion. i would also assume the lost homeworld is pretty central too, the way it is for drell in my headcanon

i remember it originally being 2 but then the devs said that its possible that they might not have to racegate?? idk whats going on anymore tbh

the only thing i remember re: that is at gaymerx or w/e when they said originally iron bull was to be racegated but then the animators worked it out so everybody could romance him

when ever ppl that arent witches say they love "witchy aesthetics" all i can think about is how often my mum calls me a heathen and tries to say i only believe in this stuff bcos im "crazy and obsessive", as tho being disabled and mentally ill somehow makes it less important or less valid
