Comments: I read this fic a few days ago, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since! I was a bit scared by the angst of the premise, but there’s actually not much to be afraid of. The writing is like a dream, with a beautiful, satisfying ending. it’s got a bit of everything: emotions, light angst, comedy, a comforting vibe. I got teary-eyes more than once, in a good way! It kind of feels like a Ghibli movie? (There’s also a non-binary background original character, who was a delightful addition.) I can’t recommend it enough!

Comments: Delivers exactly what the summary promises. I have such a soft spot for romantic letter writing and this fic doesn’t disappoint. Even the side characters have time to shine. Wangxian’s mutual pining and poor attempts to express their feelings “without saying too much” are to die for.
