oh my god I love the idea of dragons hibernating like bears, that's adorable

okay, isn’t it though!

like, first of all the image is just adorable: dragons curled up among piles of treasure or adventurer’s bones. a huge family of dragons all nestled up with each other in a huge lump in a cave somewhere. i bet some hibernate in volcanoes. or imagine them burrowing really far down under the earth and covering themselves in magma for the winter. also, swamp dragons submerging themselves in brackish water and silt and getting covered with various plants before snow falls.

also ok, i love this because it gives the nasty humanses a window to try to sneak into a dragon’s lair and steal treasure!! they might think it would be an easy thing, just take some stuff without waking the dragon, but they forget that dragons are OLD and CUNNING and have left lots of tricks and traps that would kill or seriously maim anyone trying to enter their home. 

another idea is dragons having alliances with species that don’t hibernate, and in return for feeding them from spring to fall, the other species acts as guards so the dragons aren’t taken unawares. this could even work with humans- the dragons protect the humans when they’re awake, so the humans protect them while they’re asleep (and also relegate the temperature of the lair, etc)

plus imagine an adventurer accidentally waking one of them and having to deal with a very sleepy, very angry dragon, i mean that could be funny or scary or adorable or all three. think about sluggish dragons

thom likes slow indie music and folk and singer-songwriter stuff. hes probably into sufjan stevens, iron&wine, bon iver, fleet foxes. he used to listen to music all the time in high school but now mostly just does it when he’s working on a project and people are being distractingly loud. 

harriet listens to electronic stuff mostly, like the hundred in the hands and purity ring and studio killers. she’ll replace thom’s music with her own whenever he plays it over the speakers (he lets her because of all the times in high school that he was a douchebag and called her music taste awful crap)

rabbit….listens to everything. they were banned from making party playlists after they made one that went from folk ballad to industrial metal to one direction to japanese hip-hop to indie rap to nickleback to tchaikovsky’s waltz of the flowers. there was more but harriet shut it off after it got any farther.

molly listens to opera and showtunes because that was all she listened to when she was little and hasn’t really been interested in expanding her music taste at all. some nights she listens to carmen on repeat. max also introduced her to witch house so she listens to that sometimes. 

max likes VAPORWAVE and noise and shoegaze and other, more esoteric genres, some that the average passerby probably wouldn’t even classify as music. they also like swans.

(answering for the show not the books because you specified got. my answers for asoiaf are different).

The first character I fell in love with: I legitimately don’t remember. probably ned tbh.

The character who is my ‘baby’: theon ofc <3

The character who I do not understand: umm. hmm. I guess I don’t quite understand what they did with robb in the show. 

The character that I think the show ruined: jaime, cersei, catelyn, most characters tbh

The most attractive male and female character: off the top of my head probably robb for male characters and either talisa or margaery for female because they’re both stunning and I can’t decide between them.

The character death that was the worst for me: ned probably? I just completely didn’t see it coming and I was so heartbroken. but then again drogo shattered me just because of dany’s reaction. in a different way I thought that talisa, ros, jojen, irri and doreah’s deaths were all unnecessary twists added in for shock value and I didn’t appreciate them (especially the hyper-sexualised offscreen nature of ros’ death). oberyn’s was the hardest to watch because of how graphic and sudden it was.

The character that is the most like me: sansa (imo)

The character I think the writer(s) love: obviously tyrion and probably jon snow and dany as well

The character that I just want to be happy: THEON AND SANSA FOR THE LOVE OF GOD (but also, you know, most characters)

My four favorite characters, past or present: theon greyjoy, sansa stark, brienne of tarth and margaery tyrell

My four least favorite characters, past or present: ramsay bolton, jorah mormont, walder frey and (of course) joffrey baratheon
