Alice Johnson is newly released from prison. As a result Kardashian ‘must’ “show her the ropes” of technology-driven 2019 social media platforms, such as Snapchat. Here they play with different filters, while the audience is able to share the affective experience of Alice’s live and genuine reactions to the phenomenon that is the modern and ever-advancing “filter,” (an affordance designed specifically for selfies).
