Have you ever seen Six-String Samurai? I’ve wanted to be a ninja or samurai ever since. I just signed up for the trail month at Quest Martial Arts in Chandler for the Gracie Jujitsu program. I’m definitely going to drop in on the Ninjutsu classes. If all goes well I’ll be bringing Rian to the tiny titans class. #questmartialarts #lfthx #fitby40 #dadlife #questmartialartschandler #graciejuijitsu #ninjutsu #chandleraz #riancito #dadbod (at Quest Martial Arts Chandler) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsB7HYPhv7m/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1vxm1hom7ncrs

This is a partner knife flow drill. Please never use a live blade in any training.
The whole idea here is to redirect the weapon, grab control and then disarm. These drill are from Phillipine martial arts. The drill consists of a back hand ice pick grip and the counter attack is a tip up forward slash. This enables the partners to keep the drill flowing , feel the energy of the attack and practice varying angles of attack.
