I SAW UR PFP AND SUDDENLY FEEL LIKE ANNOUCING THAT I GOT TO WATCH LOVE, SIMON FOR THE FIRST TIME A MONTH AGO AND IT WAS kinda underwhelming if I'm being honest and I really hated his friends but straight people just have so many good and bad movies at this point that I will take jut about any nonoffensive movie and love it

i get the underwhelming nature, i'm in love with the book and hated how some things were treated (like his friends). that being said, i did still sob all the way through and will still cry when i watch the part with him being outed.

i do promise that the book deals with it all much better and it leaves you not wanting to strangle his friends!

we really do need to claim it when we can so we can still get movies, and i think love simon paved the way for a lot more to come!
