Sorry for replying so late! Also, there’s no bus hahaha you can ask me anything about it any time… also yes I did indeed answer it here a couple of times but I am bad at tagging so can’t find it either. It’s mentioned a few times in passing in the story, but it’s kathak, a classical Indian dance form that Mother Balls is a professional practitioner of. Compared to many other classical forms, the attire, movement style and aesthetic of kathak is considered especially “feminine” for male practitioners. I don’t have the knowledge to explain it in technical terms I’m afraid and it’s way too late here to wake my mum and ask hahaha

so here’s an example of a solo male performance… if you watch it you can probably see why Finnu’s homophobic father took umbrage at him pursuing this specific form, and thus see why he chose to specialise in it 🙏🏽
