Post Reveal Revelry Day 31 - Freedom

Ooh boy I haven't written anything Miraculous in a while - or anything for that matter - let's see how this very short lil drabble goes...

Adrien had always thought freedom could only exist in his time spent as Chat Noir, at least while under his father's thumb. But now he was unbound, freed as his father went to prison for his crimes against the city as Hawkmoth.

Granted it was most, unfortunate, that he be left on his own at 18, especially with his lack of basic life skills thanks to the controlled life thrust upon him by Gabriel Agreste. Adrien was not alone entirely however, Marinette was there to guide and help him when he needed it, and he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

She had always been the one to think of the plans, it seemed only fitting that she was there by his side as they reveled in the new way of life. Now they didn't have to have the weight of the world on their shoulders at such a young age, they could be normal teenagers like they always wanted, and be together without worrying about their love bringing the end of the world.

It wasn't all no rules and no responsibility, it was about living a life they chose and that, that was what freedom was.
