I identify as queer partly because it is radical and rebellious, but mostly because it's inclusive. That to me is part of why it's radical in the first place. It incorporates all parts of the community, and all the various parts of my own identity for that matter, into one short, simple, powerful word. It's welcoming, it's comfortable, it's punk. I love it.
