"Watch--out!"
The rattling of the old bicycle was sounded from the minor hill, the yelling female unable make use the peddles as it took control by itself due to the slope. So much for teaching herself how to ride the it. Seventeen years of age and still she had no clue as how to ride one -- how peculiar was that? This day was planned to change that fact around, yet she only gained control for a few mere seconds, until it caused the tedious; fearful problem that was now speeding forward.
Naturally, Barbie was terrified -- she hadn't even properly rode a bicycle before, and here she was to experience something frightful as this, completely unaware of how to even halt by now. A hopeful smile appeared as a gradual slowing occurred, but the expression changed drastically as someone suddenly came in sight.
"Watch o--!" Before Barbie could finish, she jerked the handles in the opposite direction hastily Turning too quickly, however, resulted in crashing harshly to the ground, scrapping against roughness as the bike landed on her. Needless to say, she didn't feel too good. " . . A-Ah, you-- you okay?"
--In reference to the person she almost hit, completely ignoring the fact that she's in pain over the huge crash she just had. Her main concern was never herself.

Human beings were such trouble. Loud, uncaring, selfish, destructive...How could they possibly yearn to live like that day after day? Killing what is not theirs to kill, deciding things that they have no right to decide. Horrible, confusing creatures. Always have been, and always will be. Jae finds it increasingly strange how and why he even chooses to interact or have anything to do with this species. Boredom he tells himself, unfortunate necessity. A heart or two is all he needs, nothing more; there is no other legitimate reason to even be near them.
In fact...it's about time Jae heads back to the mountains now that his feast is complete. Silently, the blonde slips out the window apartment's window just as silently as he'd entered, gracefully jumping to the ground below, straightening and fixing himself, leaving his prickling guilt and shame in that dark room where he left it. No use carrying more burden than he already does. Sweeping strands of gold from his eyes, Jae gives a last lick of now clean fingers as he begins to walk, the tang of blood still lingering upon his tongue. What a fulfilling night.
