So I’ve been in this indie plushie collector group on Facebook for a few months now, and I already hate it.

Why, do you ask? Well, it all started with a giveaway they had recently for a chance to win a little blue crocodile like this:

I found it mildly cute, so I signed up for the giveaway figuring I’d forget all about it. Except I didn’t. I got attached to this little shit hard and fast. And apparently lots of other people did, since there were almost 100 entries. I didn’t win, but I found out it was a “Croconana” from Sorbet Jungle (a plush maker I’ve bought a couple ram plushies from before), so I checked the site.

Turns out that Croconanas come in many colors—yellow, green, red, pink—but the blue one is the only one that’s limited edition. In my days of searching, I’ve discovered that it is just about frickin’ impossible to find them online.

Logically, this shouldn’t be a problem, since they all look the same anyway. Except, like a picky little girl, I find myself wanting the blue one specifically. Not because it’s rare, but because it’s blue. Again, I’m in my twenties and I’m regressing back to not wanting my little Happy Meal toy unless it’s a particular color, dammit!

Anyway, now I’m extremely attached to this thing and I’m 90% sure I’d name it Maui. (After the Moana character, sure, but mainly because my favorite slushies from when I was a kid were called “Maui Blue.”) Here’s hoping I actually find one someday.

(Also, side note—“limited-edition-blue-crocodile” would be a killer Tumblr username, and you know it!)

What's your worst boss/mini boss fight?

Mine is the hinox mini boss from Link's Awakening. I just cannot. I literally fuckin' cried. But I got it. Eventually. After many deaths. Basically all my deaths are from that fight. :,D
